Route details
The route starts from the centre of the city. Check the map to see what streets to follow.
From the streets of the city, there will be trail markings (Blue triangle) that will take us to the Țuțuiatul Peak (467m).
After the Țuțuiatul Peak, we will start following the Red Triangle that will take us around the mountain.
After we exit the forest there will be a road taking us back to the city. There are Red Circle markings from here on.
You can also check the official map of the area.
Trail Markings: the route is 100% on marked trails, there are no orientation problems.
Water Sources:
- a spring on the first climb, before Țuțuiatul.
Surface
Most of the trail is dirt and rounded rocks.
It’s best to come here in May or in September since it’s always windy and in the middle of the summer it gets way too hot.
Alternative routes:
- The route can go in reverse with no problems.
You can read more about the Măcin natural park on their official website.
